Techno Joy and Techno Trauma

Techo Joy came in the form of our new Adelphia cable internet and TV. Our measly 768 kbps Verizon DSL is now a rather fatter 4 Mbps pipe. We also have BBC America and lots of other fuzz free channels.
Techno Trauma then reared its ugly head as my Fujitsu C2210 DVD/CDRW packed up for the second time. No longer under warranty it would be $260 to replace! Fear not though as I found an much newer model on NewEgg.com for a bargain $85. Update: The drive arrived one day after ordering from NewEgg.com and was very simple to install. So if you have a similar problem with your laptop I would recommend DIY and not paying through the nose.[
