G'day from Downunder !

Well we’ve finally done it - managed to escape the ICMB…. arrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!

Jen and I are now living is Adelaide, Australia where the weather is better that Edinburgh but the beer is worse. You win some and you lose some !We left Ed at the end of March and flew to Adelaide via a 3 day stopover in Hong Kong. That was well worth the stop.
GEEK BIT START
Went gadget shopping amongst other things and bough myself a new digital video camera - a Canon MV700i. Very impressed with the picture quality.

Adelaide is so far so good. Been here just over a week. Jenny has a lab job as an RA in the Womens and Childrens Hospital in the city centre. Something to do with stem cells - I think. I on the other hand am a man of leisure. Crusing the streets in our new car (Mitsubishi Lancer). House hunting (gonna rent for a while) and cold calling people to try to get a postdoc job. Have reasonable success on both accounts !
