Double Black Diamond

Ever since my trip to Crested Butte when I was 16, the phrase “Double Black Diamond” has always symbolised the near impossible ski run. However Vertigo didn’t result in an agonizing tumbly death, and I managed some turns and only a moderate amount of uncontrolled sliding. The camera came out on the slopes and so the view from the top is now available, as is proof of Catherine boarding and looking slightly puzzled.
