Tough day in the lab

So the Mercedes-Benz Cup started today on campus and we managed to wangle several free tickets. Catherine and I watched the first set of Jan Vacek (CZE) vs. local boy Kevin Kim (USA) where Kim won the set. After a brief spell at work and lunch we came back in the after noon for Wayne Ferreira (RSA) and Justin Gimelstob (USA) vs. Lleyton Hewitt (AUS) Mark Philippoussis (AUS). ‘, ‘ Lleyton Hewitt looked tiny next to Philippoussis but was very nippy around the court and had very good reflexes at the net. They beat Gimelstob and Ferreira fairly convincingly despite the close scoreline. Gimelstob had a rather comedy server and kept talking into the ball to Ferraira so the other team could not lipread his cunning tactics… very strange.
